We understand that sometimes you may need to return a product you have purchased from the Inspirations Paint online store. To assist you, we have set out below the Inspirations Paint Returns Policy highlighting key points that you should know.
Australian Consumer Law: Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (if you are a consumer) and other relevant laws.
If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period for which a remedy may be available can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Inspirations Paint adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to return the product to us.
We ask that when making a purchase you please choose carefully as Inspirations Paint does not accept return of products where you have simply changed your mind, are not happy with a colour or where the purchase was a gift that was unwanted. Inspirations Paint also does not accept any returns on any paint that has been tinted.
Products purchased online can only be returned if they are faulty, and the fault did not arise through any misuse, abnormal use or negligent use of the product.

If Inspirations Paint can determine that a customer’s purchased goods are damaged or faulty and was through no fault of their own or through wear and tear, they will be entitled to choose one of the following options for a refund:
A money back refund onto the credit card used to purchase the item OR
A credit voucher to be used at the Inspirations Paint online store
Both options would be equal to the amount paid for the item. Both options will be made available to the customer to choose from.
Before the refund is issued to a customer, the customer needs to return the faulty or damaged item back to National Office. Inspirations Paint will issue customers eligible to receive a refund or credit with a ‘Product Return Label’. Customers will then need to attach this label to the product in question and post back to National Office. Inspirations Paint will cover the postage cost in this situation. Once the item has been received back to National Office, Inspirations Paint will then issue either the refund OR the credit voucher for the same value of the returned item.
